Barbehire was established in 1976. Originally Barbehire was started as a division of Barbecues Galore, supplying barbecues to hire.

Phillip branched out Barbehire on it's own in 1978 and has been the Managing Director ever since.

From hiring barbecues, spits, tables, chairs and much more, it didn't take long for our clients to ask us to do the cooking too. This is how Barbehire's catering division was started.

So, not only do we cook with barbecues but we also hire them, sell them, renovate them and rescue them.

Although Barbehire has been in the catering industry for such a long time, we still like to use our traditional spit roast cooking methods. All our spit roasts are cooked slowly over a traditional charcoal fire. This allows your guests to enjoy the full spit roast atmosphere. They can see the delicious meats, smell the mouth-watering aromas and talk about the experience with the other guests.

We specialise in spit roast and barbecue catering, however we can also help you with finger foods and a host of other menus.

We can help you with everything from a 1 - 3 course menu, with or without all the trimmings. We tailor a package to suit your needs.

We have provided catering and event management services for thousands of events - from intimate dinner parties for 10 to 10,000 people for a hot-and-cold breakfast in the park!
